Whom We Work For?
Our beneficiaries predominantly constitute those people or families who are below or just above the poverty line.
We operate at the slum areas with all communities irrespective of religion or political affiliation. Most of these residents are daily wage earners and from unorganized sector. They are predominantly illiterate, with bare minimum access to the basic infrastructural facilities. They have little or no knowledge of factors such as hygiene, family planning, budgeting, safeguarding their future etc. As a result of unsteady income, there is a high rate of temporary and permanent migration in these communities, owing to no continuity in their children’s education.
